My educational background
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, I bring a blend of professional expertise and personal experience to my practice. My life, enriched by my three wonderful children, two playful cats, and a loyal psychiatric service dog, has taught me the importance of empathy, resilience, and the power of human connection.
In my therapeutic journey, I have always been driven by a humanistic approach. I believe in the inherent goodness of people and the potential for personal growth. This belief is at the core of my practice, where I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore, heal, and thrive.
My professional toolkit includes a variety of therapeutic modalities, with a focus on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-focused therapies. These evidence-based approaches enable me to tailor my methods to the unique needs of each client, whether they are navigating life’s challenges, mental health issues, or seeking personal development.

Who I am out of the office
Outside the therapy room, my interests in video games, zombie movies, and engaging activities with my kids keep me grounded and connected to the ever-evolving world around us. These interests not only provide me with a well-rounded perspective on life but also help me relate to clients from diverse backgrounds.
I am passionate about helping individuals find their path to wellbeing and am continually inspired by the strength and resilience of the human spirit. In my practice, I am committed to supporting my clients as they discover their inner strengths and move towards a more fulfilling life.
