Everyone wants to be loved.

Everyone wants to be loved, but do you know that love starts from within? Have you experienced failed relationships with family members, friends, and intimate partners?

When faced with challenges, has it impacted the way you look and think about yourself?

I want to help you find your peace by overcoming the self-defeating thoughts and the self-sabotaging actions that can impact your day-to-day life and day-to-day interactions. Depression and anxiety often make you lose focus on yourself and your needs; together through mental health therapy, we can refocus your attention while overcoming the obstacles in your life.

Connecting the dots

It is imperative to get to the root of the issues presented.

Oftentimes, mental health counseling is sought once you experience an insufferable peak of negative emotions.

I will work with you to help you uncover the root of the issue and heal from within.

We will explore the tools and skills that you can continue to use throughout your life.

Areas of focus

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. My education and professional background give me a unique and effective approach to counseling. I work to provide clients with tailored treatment plans that can be integrated into their daily lives.

I have a master’s level education in clinical mental health counseling and an undergrad level degree in psychology.

Before becoming a mental health therapist, I received experience in various fields of mental health. I was a Mental Health Probation Officer who specialized in working with dually diagnosed offenders who received Community Supervision in lieu of a prison/jail sentence; a Qualified Mental Health Professional who worked with children/adolescents and their parents/guardians on coping skills; and as a Behavior Support Provider for the developmentally delayed.

My counseling approach is using my active listening skills to understand the entire worldview of anyone sitting across from me. My focus is bridging the gap between today’s problems and tomorrow’s goals.

Who I am out of the office

When I am not working for NewPath Therapy and Wellness, I love to read paranormal romance novels.

I bake cakes and cookies; I have been working on my decorating skills.

I also enjoy crafting and spending time with my 5-year-old and husband.
