Areas of Focus

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Lamar University. My passion lies in helping individuals learn more about themselves and discover the strengths they already hold. I have experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I incorporate techniques from a variety of therapeutic frameworks and tailoring each session to your unique needs, values, and goals. I strive to create a compassionate, judgment-free environment where you feel safe to be yourself, explore your thoughts and emotions, and grow at your own pace.

I also find it meaningful to explore how our childhoods, past experiences, and the way our bodies and nervous systems respond to our environment shape our present lives. Carl Jung once said, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” I believe that if we can uncover the underlying principles that drive us—often formed long ago—we can find answers, better understand ourselves, and create lasting change.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with clients across the lifespan—from children to senior adults. I have a special interest in working with young adults as they face the unique challenges of that season of life. I also enjoy working with women, who often carry a wide range of emotional, relational, and societal pressures. Whether you’re making big life decisions, dealing with school or college stress, navigating complex relationships, or facing the demands of work and family, I’m here to support you.

Who I am out of the office

When I’m not in a therapy session, I love spending time with my husband and our two sons. I enjoy watching movies, especially in theaters. I’m a big fan of Sonic Cokes—specifically with vanilla, sweet cream, and lime (so good!). I also love taking Disney World vacations every now and then—it’s my happy place where I can unplug, have fun, and soak in some magic.
