Everyone has a story to tell.

Life brings changes – some we ask for, others we do not. Some of those changes bring pain, grief, and anxiety, and they can be difficult to navigate on your own.

When facing these changes on your own, you may feel overwhelmed and begin to dig yourself into a deep sense of isolation, making relationships and moving forward even more difficult.

They become PART of our story, BUT not the end of our story.

When the sense of isolation and negativity consume you, it becomes difficult to live your everyday life. You go with the flow and with that, things never change.

But life goes on and so can your story.

Everyone's story matters.

As a mental health therapist, I will listen to you or your child’s story, worries, and pain. Then together, we will work toward continuing the story with a sense of healing, wholeness, and confidence.

My integrated counseling approach consists of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and play therapy techniques. We will work together to add positive life changes and learn healthy coping skills.

My goal is to help you or your child resolve and work through issues in the current season of life by getting rid of unhealthy thoughts, behaviors, and coping strategies.

Areas of focus

With 29 years of experience working with children and families, helping people reach their highest potential through mental health counseling has become my life’s passion.

After 10 years as an educator, I spent the next several years of my career as a school counselor for elementary and middle school students.

I hold credentials as a minister with the General Council of the Assemblies of God and serve as the women’s ministry leader and an Adult Sunday School teacher/substitute at my local church.

Who I am out of the office

When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, fishing, camping, and gardening with my husband of 40 years.

We have two adult children, three grandchildren, and two spoiled dogs.

Your story may feel like it is never ending and forever changing.

It isn’t a bad thing, but maybe you need someone to help you decide what you want your story to say.

Let’s start writing a new ending to your story!
