Feeling lost

When we experience trauma, anxiety, or self-esteem problems, we tend to become stuck in their thought processes.

The intent of my work is to help those who feel lost, alone, confused, or otherwise in need who have a desire to find a deeper reasoning and understanding of self and their behaviors.

Finding yourself

Why and how are often the biggest questions that come about. Finding out the why is often the same as discovering the how.

As a mental health counselor, I want to help clients break down their defense mechanisms to get to the heart of the problem so that they can face a clear reality to work on the root of the issue and not just the symptoms that the problem may cause.

Through mental health therapy, I seek to help people first understand their motivations, desires, limitations, mental blocks, and other personal issues to get at the core and heart of a person’s needs and desires.

My professional history

A blunt of my education experience comes from working with chemical dependency and incarcerated inmates.

This goes hand in hand with grief, personality disorder, self-harm, family/peer/relationship issues along with existential crises, finding purpose in what seems hopeless, and individuals who have given up for various reasons.

Who I am out of the office

I enjoy computer and tabletop gaming including role-playing games, such as Dungeons & Dragons. Some of my interest include ancient warfare; mythology/religions; collectable card/miniature games; and traveling to NOLA, Pensacola, and Austin.

I have a silly sense of humor and rather laid back demeanor except when my ADHD decides that it is hyper time.

Become your true self.

While remaining nonjudgmental and working on myself and my technique through experience, I work to motivate clients to create a good understanding of their own thinking and emotional processes.
